Visit Harvest at The Money Show

The annual Money Show is just around the corner and Harvest ETFs is again playing a big part in the sponsorship of Canada’s largest investor education conference.

The show is free and will be held over two days, Friday September 20, 2019 and Saturday September 21, 2019 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Included in the keynote and breakout group lineup are Harvest CEO Michael Kovacs, intellectual-capital expert and Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. Director, Dr. Nick Bontis and Harvest’s resident covered call option specialist and managing director, David Wysocki.

Dr. Bontis, who lectures at Hamilton’s McMaster University, will be on centre stage Friday Sept. 20 at 10:35 a.m. for a 30-minute look at technology and digital disruption.   Dr. Bontis is the author of Information Bombardment: Rising Above the Digital Onslaught and following his presentation, he will be autographing free copies of his book at the Harvest Booth #201. Mr. Kovacs, who founded Harvest in 2009, will take host a breakout session at 1:45pm Friday September 20 to talk about the Harvest strategy of conservative growth and income as it relates to retirement and the demographics of aging.

Mr. Kovacs is an avid follower of Warren Buffet and built Harvest’s investment philosophy along similar lines. At the core, are ways to generate an income stream while aiming for long-term capital growth. Mr. Kovacs will explore how increased longevity is leading to greater demands on our financial resources. As a result, we will need strategies to make our income last longer.

David Wysocki started his career as a financial advisor and will use his knowledge and experience to explain how Harvest can help generates a tax-efficient income using its covered call option strategy. The sessions will be held at the Harvest booth #201.

David is a dynamic speaker who enjoys presenting at advisor education sessions and his talk will include explanations of what call options are, how they work and how a covered call option strategy reduces risk. He will also touch on the Harvest method of screening stocks and choosing which stocks to write its options on.
